It has been quite a while since I posted any home decor/home improvement updates.
My latest project was the front entryway. It was empty for so long and I finally decided to do something about it. It seems like the process of decorating and filling empty spaces with furniture is never-ending.
Whenever I scroll through my Instagram feed and see other people’s homes, I can’t help but wonder “How in the world did they furnish their huuuge house so fast?”
I must remind myself: How boring would it be if my house was completely furnished, painted, and decorated?
That’s the fun part. The process of making a house feel like home is what makes owning a house so wonderful. So after one year and some months since moving into our new home, the entryway finally looks decent. One project at a time, one room at a time, and one day at a time, I’m checking things off my list.
See the progression!
